Headteacher Welcome Message
I am delighted to be the Headteacher of Perry Beeches III. We are a mainstream non-selective school built upon the core values of respect, teamwork and high aspirations. We work with a tremendous community of parents and students here in Ladywood; right in the heart of our proud and vibrant city.
Our focus is always on individual student progress and personal development. We strive to create confident, intelligent and skillful young people who will flourish at university or in the contemporary workplace.
Our academic and aspirational culture stems from our relentless drive to deliver exceptional student outcomes. Educational excellence is the key to social mobility, a fairer society and better lives for our students. For this reason, we insist on the highest of standards in everything that we do at PBIII.
Student voice opportunities and leadership roles are key ways in which our young people shape and strengthen our school and the local community. We ask our students to be mature, responsible and selfless wherever possible.
We are very keen for our students to have enriching opportunities and experiences beyond classroom. Every member of our Year Seven team has a week-long residential at a PGL Centre in Shropshire, participating in outdoor and adventure activities. In Years Eight and Nine, students visit museums and various sites of cultural and historic importance. In Year Ten, all of our students experience a week at a university and receive advice and guidance about careers and higher education.
Our students deserve the best, so we appoint only the most talented and passionate teachers and support staff. These people understand that it is a huge privilege to work with the incredible children of Birmingham. They know that great teachers inspire the next generation, transform lives and brighten futures.
Strong values underpin everything that we do here at Perry Beeches III. Put simply, all of our staff, students and parents appreciate why we believe in RESPECT, work hard as a TEAM and always make PROGRESS.
